Details:
I was very fortunate weatherwise here in Missouri to be able to record three Geomagnetic Storms during this solar cycle #25...so far. After this most recent one I decided to compile my three Keograms from one of my All-Sky Cameras into one image. I know that the times don't line up well vertically as each Keogram used slightly different rendering software to compile the data and the exposures were different. The same camera was used for each Keogram, however. Maybe not the exact same settings. Doing this allowed me to compare the three storms as far as timing of the substorms and position of the SAR arcs etc. Each storm was different albeit some similarities are there including the SAR arc being gently nudged south by each substorm. One can tell just by comparing these Keograms that the May 2024 storm was in a league all of its own with bright energetic substorms and dusk to dawn intensity.
