Details:
I saw on Facebook that a few people had said the sky had lit up. I checked softsercvemews.com and spaceweather.com to see what was going on and had to do a double take at the Kp number. I grabbed my Olympus OM-D Em10 MkII with a Rokinon 12mm ƒ/2 and headed out. The first shot was so intense I had to back the ISO down to 640 and use only 3 second shots so as not to completely overcook the photos. I haven't seen intensity like this since 2017 while living in Vermont. What a night to be able to see this kind of display in the heart of the Midwest!
