Details:
Another major flare occurred this morning in AR4274. I could follow it from 9h58 (UT) to 10h30, with its biggest extension at 10h03 (first picture, with a Celestron 8 solar telescope and SolarSpectrum 0.3A H alpha filter). The second picture is a spectroheliogram taken at 10h25 (100 mm refractor with Sol'Ex spectroheliograph, two-image mosaic). The third picture is a dopplergram taken at 10h25 (same equipment). It shows motions in the chromosphere, with blue features moving toward us and red features moving away.
