Here is an image of the open star cluster NGC 7380, also known as the Wizard Nebula. NGC 7380 is located in the constellation Cepheus about 7,000 light-years from Earth within the Milky Way Galaxy. The star cluster is embedded in a nebula, which spans some 110 light-years. The stars of NGC 7380 have emerged from this star-forming region in the last 5 million years or so, making it a relatively young cluster. Tech Specs: William Optics REDCAT 51 Telescope, ZWO ASI071MC camera running at 0F and Optolong L-eXtreme 2” Filter, 3 Hours and 5 Minutes using 5-minute subs, Sky-Watcher EQ6R-Pro mount, ZWO EAF (ProAstroGear Black-CAT) and ASIAir Pro, guided using a ZWO 30mm f/4 mini guide scope and ZWO 120 mini, processed in PixInsight.
