On the last day of October, Comet Lemmon underwent a significant disruption to its ion (blue) tail. Taken between 6:55PM-7:27PM. Tech Specs; Fujifilm X-T5 (raw, cropped), Nikkor 180mm f/2.8 @ f/5.6, 75x20s subs, iso 800, PixInsight, Astrotrac, moonlight 74%, mostly clear skies, transparency 7 out of 10, light winds. Compare this image to the one 24 hours earlier: www.flickr.com/photos/cloud_spirit/54892322293 The 2nd image constitutes the use of 75x20s subs with muted stars.
