Using my standard Fujifilm X-T5 camera and Nikkor 180mm f/2.8 lens along with a Astrotrac clock drive, I recorded Comet Lemmon under clear calm conditions in a Bortle 5 sky. Because of the city sky glow, I stepped down the f-stop to f/5.6 but continued to use 10x30s exp at iso 1600 to fix stars with little comet drift in Pixinsight. When I included all 98x30s exp fixing on the comet, the result was considerable more dramatic: www.flickr.com/photos/cloud_spirit/54863859267. The two relatively bright stars to the right of Lemmon are 6.1 and 6.5 magnitude for comparison. The bright orange star near the center left edge is 4.8 magnitude. Using Pixinsight with a 98x30s stack fitted on the comet, I reduced all but the brightest stars in order to reveal the fine streamers in the comet's tail. To many observers, this comet is a disappointment (was perhaps over-hyped). However with astronomical gear, the comet is quite beautiful.
