Details:
I went out last night to see some auroras. But the southern sky had many thick clouds moving fast with strong winds, and a hint of rain. While I waited for cloud clearance, I instead pointed the camera towards some clouds that showed periodic lightenings towards the west. To my surprise I saw huge red sprites as it blasted into space, high above the mountains.
It became a very lucky night that ended with a special treat.
