Details:
I was not expecting anything with the bz being north most of the evening and night for North America. But an hour or so before midnight I started to see the bz drop to -12 then -16. I took my chance and put my cameras out to see if we got anything at the house. For the most part no but then the first substorm happened the sky was full of color and you could see the green arc moving towards Missouri. At first the green arc looked like a cloud but there was no clouds to my north which then told me what I was looking at.
