2025 FA22 came relatively close to Earth at 2.2 LD, reaching its maximum brightness on September 18-19 at 13m3. 2025 RL2 was significantly closer at 0.6 LD on Sep 19. Exciting, the minor planet showed a rapid light change of 1 mag every 2 minutes. The animation showed it a few hours earlier when it was already traveling at 140“ per minute. Images taken with 11” RASA and CMOS.
