Details:
The lunar eclipse near Oxford was unfortunately only visible for a brief moment between cloud breaks, and after the total phase had ended. However, a red glow was clearly visible deep in the Earth's shadow, roughly halfway through the partial phase. Therefore, the eclipse was one of the brighter ones.
