Details:
Mercury was clear as a bell when the image was taken. Two rayed craters came into view by the limb. A dark double crater Rachmaninoff is easily seen above center as a spot. Mercury was taken at 62 degrees above the southern horizon. I have included a WinJUPOS simulator, and both are consistent with each other.
