Details:
While watching for Perseid meteors from my back yard I caught this unusual satellite trail, which I suspected was a fuel dump. The northward path seemed a bit wrong for either of the 2 eastward launches earlier in the evening, but maybe it fits. 20sec exposure, Nikon D5200, ISO 1600, Sigma 10-20mm at 14mm and f/4.5. My general view was the same as was already posted by Josh Thum, since I was very nearby without knowing he was there. (I knew Josh several years ago when he was a student participating in various activities at Yerkes Observatory, where I was director. If someone can send me his email address, or send him mine, I would like to communicate with him.)
