Details:
This morning, the closest encounter (conjunction) of Venus (right) and Jupiter occurred. At the time of the photo, the two planets were only 52.6' apart. The weather couldn't have been better... It was a great sight. On the left, Castor (above) and Pollux, the main stars of the constellation Gemini.
