Details:
Just a few hours before this photo, I was thinking I will still have around a week to sleep peacefully at night. After all, I haven't seen auroras that early in all the years before here in Oulu, Finland. The strong solar wind and G1 storm had other plans. Barely dark enough, there was first a green band towards South (were it is darker) and then this wonderful corona appeared. Happy new aurora season!
