This is my "NEW" attempt to process all Santurn data, 35 color videos, and 6 mono camera videos. I am still learning how to process planets.
Titan's shadow was transiting Saturn. I also saw moons. Titan and Dione could be seen on my pc monitor. I imaged from my Manorville, NY Observatory on 08-03-25. I was very happy to have recorded this very RARE event. My imaging setup was an EdgeHD 14" / Baader Planetarium Baader Fluorite Flatfield Converter Barlow (BPFFC) / Gutekunst Optiksysteme Atmospheric Dispersion Corrector Compact https://www.apm-telescopes.net/.../gutekunst-optiksysteme... /
Player One Saturn-C SQR USB3.0 Color Camera (IMX533) with a Baader UV/IR Cut Filter, all on an AP1600GTO mount.
Please Note: Titan Shadow refers to the shadow cast by Saturn's moon, Titan, when it passes between the Sun and Saturn, visible from Earth during specific transit periods. These transits occur roughly every 16 years, corresponding to Titan's orbital period around Saturn. The transits are most easily viewed when Saturn's rings are edge-on from Earth, which happens periodically. The most recent transit series began in November 2024 and will conclude in early October 2025.
