Details:
A dreamy evening twilight occurred on July 29, 2025. I was sitting in my observatory in the garden, processing images. Meanwhile, a very small shower cell passed over Freital, behind which the sun quickly reappeared. This set off alarm bells for me. Initially faint, the two first- and second-order arcs began to develop into a first-class play of colors. The right foot, in particular, was immensely bright and colorfully intense. The Alexander dark band and the brighter region within the first-order main bow, into which sunlight is directed, as well as the supernumerary bows, were perfectly pronounced. Apparently, the raindrops were the perfect size and shape to create these bright arcs. I haven't seen it this so great in a long time. Canon EOS 6D / 2.8/12 mm Fisheye/Pentacon 1.8/50
