Sun & Boeing
Front, middle or rear? A Royal Air Maroc Boeing 737 arriving from El Aaiún, on approach to Gando Airport, Gran Canaria.
The front is pointing toward a big sunspot group that’s about to disappear off the western limb. Let’s see if it’s still there in 13–14 days... I’m always amazed by the heat distortion caused by the jet exhaust — in this shot, you can clearly see it in the third photo, at the rear of the plane. (Photos taken with Baader ND 3.8 solar filter)
