Details:
And the 15-year cycle is complete. The rings are once again visible edge-on. This event actually occurred in March, and the rings are so thin they are practically invisible. However, I couldn't take photos because Saturn was in the daytime sky at the time. In the July 2025 image, the rings have actually rotated by a few degrees and are faint. Saturn has now begun its cycle to the other side. The good news is that in 2038, when Saturn will be in the night sky, it will be observed without rings. All photos were taken as a single frame with a 102mm refractor telescope.
