Details:
The Thunder Moon living up to its name. A few waves of thunderstorms rolled through in the early morning last night. After awhile, the bright moon appeared low in the southwest, and I went out to look for moonbows. Sure enough, I was delighted to see the telltale faint white arc in the distance towards the east. There was a hint of color visible to the unaided eye, and it lasted for about 5 minutes before fading. This photo was taken at about 4 AM MT on July 10, 2025. Nikon D750, Sigma 14mm lens, iso1600, 6 second exposure, f2.8.
