Details:
Nova Velorum 2025 (V572 Bel) is still naked-eye. This image shows it at magnitude 5.2. It is paired with another slightly dimmer naked-eye nova, Nova Lupi 2025 (V462 Lup), which has been relatively stable at magnitude 5.7 for the past week. Having twosimultaneoous naked-eye novae is an historical event.
