Details:
I have my asteroid -Stefano Sposetti of Gnosca Observatory in Switzerland requested that the main belt asteroid, 1999 TG12, be named "Raffaello Lena", in recognition of my lunar contribution and studies. The IAU approved the request so the asteroid is now 102224 Raffaellolena!
This is an utter thrill and I thank Mr. Stefano Sposetti for this honor! He reported this motivation: “Raffaello Lena (b. 1959) is an Italian lunar observer. He founded Selenology Today, a journal that has produced high quality amateur lunar studies. He is the Lunar Domes Coordinator of the British Astronomical Association”.
Stefano Sposetti is a physics teacher and maintains a website with some excellent images.
