Details:
June 12 Northern Lights over Western Colorado: I saw that there were geomagnetic storm conditions so I went outside to catch a few photos. It was really bright with the moonlight in the background, but the camera picked up a faint pink glow. If it had been dark, it probably would have been a decent display. It was fleeting and faded quickly. Lucky to get what I did, I should have been out there sooner! This is near the town of Paonia looking north towards the Grand Mesa. 11:30 pm June 12 (530 UTC June 13). 6 second exposure - Nikon D750.
