Details:
I missed the ingress due to trees obscuring the Moon, but managed record the egress from my back garden in Brisbane on 10th June 2025.
I also recorded Antares separately a few minutes later and made a composite using Layers in PS CC to position Antares correctly in the image by registering it to a single Raw Frame.
After Aligning and Stacking in Austostakkert4! I stretched the final image to better reveal the trail of Antares as the star hauled itself out from the lunar limb.
Taken with a Celestron C9.25 at F10, Player One Saturn SQR camera.
I can just make out the Antares companion in the full res version at 9-o-clock.
It was quite magical to see Antares popping out from behind the Moon, well worth the effort.
Dennis.
