ISS Lunar Transit
Yesterday afternoon, just before sunset, the International Space Station transited the waxing gibbous Moon at 56% illumination.
Living on an archipelago, it's rare to have the right conditions to capture a transit—especially from the courtyard of the building where I live. Despite the presence of Saharan dust (which in small amounts can help stabilize the atmosphere), conditions weren’t ideal today. The combination of additional aerosols, a small tropical intrusion from the day before, and not having time to acclimate the telescope didn’t allow me to capture it in great quality—but I did my best in post-processing. 1.Sigle frame 2.Six frames stacked
