Details:
2nd night of early morning auroras. There was ongoing geomagnetic activity early on Monday morning MT June 2 (9-10 UTC). I set up a time lapse and caught a nice flare up at around 3:20 AM, then again as twilight was occurring around 4 am. This is a little over an hour of time lapse. It was visible unaided as a glow to the north, and it got brighter as twilight approached. I could see the aurora glow in the gap between the mountains to the north in tandem to the twilight light creeping into the northeast. It was interesting to compare the glows. It was fainter than the night before on June 1. I did not see any structure unaided, but some faint dancing pillars are visible in the photos. Nikon D750 at 20 sec exposure, f2.8, 14mm leans.
