Details:
A stunning night of aurora australis here in New Zealand's deep south. Here we are celebrating the King's birthday weekend, so I headed off to my holiday home in Middlemarch. Soon after sunset the aurora became visible, and gently grew in brightness and power until it finally exploded into life. An incredible night!
