Details:
On May 19, 2025, one week after an outburst from comet 29P/Schwassmann-Wachmann, I captured this image showing a new expanding cloud emerging from its nucleus. The cloud is highly condensed, asymmetrical in shape, and surrounded by the gaseous envelope from previous outbursts, which spans 7 arcminutes and appears very diffuse and faint. The entire structure has a total brightness of magnitude 11.6, set against a field filled with small galaxies in the constellation Leo. TS-Photon 8" f/3.7, Atik 383L+, Exp=54 min, FOV=85x64', N:Up E:Left. OAV, Valencia (Spain)
