Details:
despite this "valley" (the dark cleft signaled by arrow at the upper limb) was described before 1900 by prominent observers such as Schroter and Elger, it is actually nothing that seems to be something during a couple of hours in low illumination angle conditions. The dark floored crater next to it is Grimaldi. Newt 8".
