Details:
In the morning I observed AR 4079 in its beautiful peripheral position with the aim of determining the position of Ellermanbomb in the photosphere. Around 8:50 UT I noticed a small area that was changing rapidly. I quickly switched from offband mode to the halpha center. This allowed me to capture this beautiful eruption. It was exactly the right size for the instrument (300mm mirror unigraph), not too small and not too big! Hopefully the AR will hold out until the next pass.
