The weather forecast was poor today but I was determined to catch AR4079 on the limb so I set up my scope. A few breaks in the clouds let me capture just a few minutes of footage which revealed this explosive event - lucky or what? It looks like a loop of plasma rose from 4079 at 0844UT and twisted around until it snapped at 0855UT. (the second movie below is slow speed to show this more clearly)
