Details:
Mars is currently passing north of the open star cluster M44 in the constellation of Cancer.
The closest distance will be reached on the evenings of May 4 and 5.
With binoculars, the red planet's daily movement can be easily observed.
Our neighboring planet can be seen halfway up in the southwest in the evening.
