Details:
Starlink Group 12-23 was launched at 0209 UTC from Cape Canaveral SFS. About 1h28m later the second stage performed a deorbit burn as it crossed the west coast and traveled above Arizona.

I used a 12mm fish-eye lens to capture the deorbit burn as it ascended higher in the western sky. After it entered shadow I pointed the camera to the east and continued shooting.

I was able to capture the reentry and the red ionospheric glow. The glow lasted for a minute or two.

The first image is a crude attempt to "stitch" the west-pointing and east-pointing images together to show the transit from western horizon to just above the eastern horizon. The second and third images show the events taking place in the eastern sky.

Nikon D850, 12mm fisheye lens, ISO 800, f/4, 30 seconds.
