Details:
Last night I went out to photograph the Rosette Nebula for the first time. I didn't know if what I had planned would actually work back home on my computer. I arrived just before darkness fell completely and setup my StarAdventurer GTi tracking mount with Sony a7II and Sony 200-600mm lens. I captured 70 x 90s sub exposures of the Nebula before it moved into the atmosphere present along the horizon. Once the nebula reached the mountains I turned off the tracking on the mount and took a single 3min exposure of the foreground. To get the final image, I stacked the light frames (x70) with Darks, Flats, and Bias frames through DeepSkyStacker. I processed the nebula through Pixinsight, Lightroom, and finished blending the two images together in Photoshop. EXIF: Sony A7ii Sony 200-600mm F5.6-F6.3 at F8 ISO4000 70 x 90s subexposures 1 x 3min exposure untracked for foreground
