Details:
Tonight the data was promising for the Northern Lights. With two friends we decided to drive to Normandy where the weather forecast was the most promising. We aimed to arrive at nightfall, and we did well! It was quite at first, with some faint purple colours visible to the camera. But around 11pm local time there was a short but intense display, with pillars visible to the naked eye. A beautiful show, although not as impressive as in October and May last year.
