Details:
Today we got the pleasure of observing a 40% partial eclipse of the sun. It started at around 10.03am and reached maximum at approximately 11.00am before ending at 11.58am. Here are some of the photos I took with a filter over my mobile device. There was quite a lot of high cloud around which made the later photos a little more blurry. But overall I am pleased with these results 🌗🌖🌞🙂. During the eclipse, the temperature fell 1.5c from 11.7c to 10.2c. Not as much as the previous eclipse from a few years ago where I observed a thawed frost reform during its peak. Although the temperature drop was noticeable and the sun light went hazy looking. The light was almost certainly reduced quite abit during the peak of the eclipse.
