This solar eclipse, an insane feat of strength! Yesterday, a glorious blue and cloudless sky, today, it's gray on gray. I didn't even need to use my telescope technology.
12 minutes after the greatest eclipse, the clouds thinned for a tiny moment... No time for any experiments... My old DMC-FZ 45 EG K superzoom camera had to be used in a flash... I shot it in JPG, something I hadn't done in years... The focal length corresponds to 1200 mm in full format. Certainly one of my ugliest photos of a solar eclipse... but whatever!!! Proof…! This is not about beauty and composition…
Even if the weather is absolutely frustrating right up until the last minute, sometimes there's a tiny moment, like this one. For just a few minutes, the clouds thinned enough to reveal the sun and moon! Anyway, I was able to prove it. Perfect weather, on the other hand, in northern Germany, but what can you do...
