Details:
A perfectly blue sky with small cloud islands floating across the Sun and Moon in their tandem dance this morning. The composite photo is at maximum 31% shadow at 11:03 am, when the sun appeared from a cloud. I projected the image from a 10" Newtonian telescope onto a white paper to get the one large sunspot on the edge and the mountainous terrain of the moon's edge as a jagged line. As the moon departed at 12 noon, I had my granddaughter hold the phone to record the exact time the shadow moved away.
