Details:
There was a lot cirrus clouds over the sky but cleared a bit near sunrise for us to see just a few minutes of the eclipse from roof of university. Managed to take a few images with a 300mm telephoto -- no filter and used 1/4000 second exposure at f/40 on my Canon xsi.. used the live view screen to take and focus sun. 2 eclipses we saw in a month...wow.
