Details:
After a spring snowstorm yesterday I ventured out at 4 a.m. to catch the moon shining through ice crystals that produces an amazing halo. I believe it was locally suspended ice crystals that caused the halo and moon dogs. Interestingly, this photo was taken within minutes of the Vernal Equinox. Happy Spring!
