Annual Movement of the Sun on the Western Horizon in Bursa
Since Bursa is located at 40° north latitude, there is a constant change in the horizon at sunset throughout the year. This change is due to the Earth's axis tilt (23.5°) and orbital motion.
21 June 2023 (Summer Solstice): The sun is at its most north-west
23 September 2023 & 20 March 2024 (Equinoxes) : Sun in full west
21 December 2024 (Winter Solstice) : Sun in the southwest
