Details:
Omega Moon Yesterday, Saturday, March 15th, I photographed the moonrise for the first time in a long time with such a clear horizon. Because of work, I can only do this when it lines up with the weekend, and getting a clear E horizon is almost like winning the lottery. This time, we were only 20 minutes from home to capture it with the wind turbine and the port of Arinaga in the southeast of Gran Canaria. The moon, already a 98% waning gibbous, looked almost fully illuminated as it rose. After the eclipse on the 14th and this moonrise on the 15th, I don’t think I’ll be capturing any full moon shots for a while.
