Details:
I nearly missed this show due my battery dying at the worst possible moment just before the aurora took off. I ran back across my icy driveway and up a flight of stairs to the spot where I thought I had stored my charged batteries. Lucky for me, I was right--fresh battery in hand, I hightailed it back outside and these were my first four images after getting my camera turned back on!
