Details:
Thanks to remote astronomy, it was possible to document the total lunar eclipse of March 14, 2025, which was only partially visible from Europe. During the eclipse, the Moon enters Earth's umbral shadow, taking on a characteristic red hue due to the refraction of sunlight in the atmosphere. Its brightness decreases by approximately 63,000 times, allowing for a clearer view of the surrounding stars, which are usually obscured by the Moon's glow.
