Details:
Thanks to remote astronomy, it was possible to document the total lunar eclipse of March 14, 2025, which was only partially visible from Europe. During the eclipse, the Moon enters Earth's umbral shadow, taking on a characteristic red hue due to the refraction of sunlight in the atmosphere. Its brightness decreases by approximately 63,000 times, allowing for a clearer view of the surrounding stars, which are usually obscured by the Moon's glow. Technical Data Date and Time: March 14th 2025, 07:20 UTC Location: Rio Hurtado, Chile Telescope: ASAN250 (aperture 250 mm, focal length 900 mm) Mount: Paramount MyT Camera: ZWO ASI 6200 MM Filters: LRGB Chroma Exposure: 50 frames of 2s each (total integration time: 1 minute and 40 seconds)
