Details:
Splendid weather in and around Montréal for the 2025 March 14 Total Lunar Eclipse: clear skies, calm winds, temps just below freezing, and dry enough so frost or dew was not a concern. Yay! This single image of the total phase was taken a few minutes after maximum eclipse. Processed in Lightroom and Photoshop, trying to match the visual impression of the phenomenon without going overboard with saturation, brightness, etc. Tech details: Nikon D5300 body, Explore Scientific 80ED + Nikkor 2x Teleconverter yielding a 960mm EFL at f/12, 2.5-second exposure at ISO 200 in raw mode.
