Details:
Venus is rapidly sinking in the evening sky as it approaches inferior conjunction and continues to wane into a brilliant slender crescent. Here I placed crescent Venus along with the waxing crescent Moon, both captured at the same focal length earlier this evening, for this artistic composite image. The lunar day-night terminator has crossed the Sea of Crises, landing site of the Firefly Aerospace Blue Ghost.
