Thanks to the sharp eyes of Clinton Thomas, our group of 15 planet observers at the Starlight Drive In Theatre Friday evening saw the Ramadan Crescent moon below Mercury in a break in the clouds, with brilliant Venus above them both. Later we also imaged Uranus and two of its moons, Jupiter, and Mars, as well as some deep sky delights.
