Details:
The Chinese New Year was 29½ hours young when I spotted the new moon through the pub window yesterday evening. I briefly abandoned my (excellent) pint of Moho from the Mantle Brewery, and propped my camera on the promenade railings for this shot, just as the thin crescent was about to drop into the gloop a couple of degrees above the horizon (OM-1, mkII, 300 mm, 2× converter, 1/4" f/8, ISO 1000). Happy new thing!
