Details:
The tail of Comet C/2024 G3 (ATLAS) continues to shine brightly. Once astronomical twilight had ended, I was able to discern 15 degrees of tail from the 'head' over to bright Fomalhaut, with the naked eye. I set up by the iconic, derelict swing bridge at Opiki on the Manawatu River for my 4th comet over that bridge in 21 years.
