Details:
An unexpected cometary brilliance has emerged to the southern sky this week captivating everyone. Look at the southwest sky and see the comet at the twilight! This image was recorded before the comet ATLAS (C/2024 G3) sinking to the cloudy horizon in the Restinga de Maricá Environmental protected Area, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This is the result of five stacked frames of 4s, ISO 400, performed with Canon EOS 6D, Samyang 135mm f2 ED UMC lens and a fixed tripod. The comet tail is long as 7 to 8 degrees. Awesome!
