Details:
Aboard cruise ship Azamara Onward underway at 17.1 knots in the Pacific Ocean C/2024 G3 ATLAS was imaged 1.5 degrees above the W horizon.
As we are headed SE to French Polynesia the comet will be better positioned each night.
I found it first with 2.1x42 Vixen wide field binoculars and as it played with the clouds I finally got a zoom image in a sucker hole
